LIMEN

£5,800.00

Limen explores the delicate tension between architectural refinement and elemental erosion across a continuous elliptical ring. Conceived as a quiet aperture framing ambient light and surrounding space, the sculpture is cleaved along an organic, coastline like dividing line. One hemisphere is polished and captures and distorts the surrounding room, while the opposing crest is enveloped in a deep, mottled cupric patina. Grounded on a dark, patinated bronze plinth, the piece balances classical polish with the wabi-sabi aesthetic of natural decay.
