Aegis explores the tension between disciplined geometric order and raw geological rupture. Conceived as a faceted bronze stele cleaved along its vertical axis, the form radiates outward from a pierced, central void into broad, hand burnished planes. The dialogue between warm polished bronze facets, recessed verdigris patina fields and jagged internal strata gives the sculpture an ever shifting presence as ambient light rakes across the relief. Mounted on a bronze plinth, the piece balances classical permanence with deliberate erosion.

Edition & Provenance - Strictly limited to 8 EV (Édition Variée). Individually hand engraved on the base (Eagan, 1/8 EV), registered in the studio catalogue raisonné and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Dimensions & Weight - 450mm (H) total (Sculpture: H410mm x W290mm x D90mm / Base: H40mm x W320mm x D150mm) - Approx. 28kg.
Materials & Finish - Cast silicon bronze on a fabricated brushed silicon bronze plinth. Burnished relief planes, pierced internal cavities and layered verdigris (cupric nitrate) patina sealed with microcrystalline wax. Base underside lined with archival felt.
Production & Transit - Individually cast to order (14–16 weeks lead time). Dispatched directly from the Norfolk studio in a custom timber crate, fully insured. Worldwide freight and UK delivery arranged upon enquiry.

Payment Schedule - Cast to order works require a 50% production deposit to secure the edition number and schedule the foundry pour. The remaining 50% balance falls due upon photographic sign off of the completed sculpture prior to crating.
