VOLUTE
Volute explores logarithmic growth and material transformation across an unbroken spiral trajectory. Rising from a heavily eroded, dark cupric verdigris patina, the form ascends into a burnished golden bronze curve that coils inward to an infinitely delicate point. The sculpture captures the sharp threshold between primordial decay and pure mathematical geometry, setting the raw, fractured weight of the earth against the weightless fluidity of polished metal.
