Solstice explores centrifugal momentum and geological accretion. Composed of fractured tablets spiralling inward toward a quiet circular void, the sculpture creates a powerful visual cadence between disciplined radial symmetry and raw tectonic collapse. The surface is finished with a chromium and copper green layered patina, exposing dark oxidized bronze fractures beneath that swallow and refract ambient light. Mounted on a bronze plinth, the form presents an ever shifting relief that changes dramatically as raking light moves across the stepped facets.
