Fabrication & Foundry Commission

The Direct from Studio Advantage

Working directly with an independent artist provides a direct relationship with the studio and makers, quality control and insight that commercial gallery models cannot match. Operating exclusively on a direct to collector basis eliminates gallery markups, ensuring your investment goes entirely into the scale, premium materials and craftsmanship of your artwork.

Every stage of production is executed personally within the North Norfolk studio and private foundry. The work never leaves our hands. To guarantee provenance for future collectors, every sculpture bears the artist’s signature, a unique authentication number and a "PU 1/1" hallmark, signifying a completely unique, un-editioned piece of art.

Creation & Craftsmanship

Upon receipt of the initial deposit, the physical build commences. This process blends traditional lost wax casting with digital innovation, utilising 3D printing for direct investment casting and modern structural engineering. You will receive regular photographic updates direct from the workshop as the sculpture takes physical form.

Bespoke Patination

Patination is a deeply collaborative and transformative stage. Distinct chemical treatments, such as layered iron and copper nitrates, are expertly applied by hand to achieve a complex, bespoke surface pattern and colour tailored entirely to your vision and the sculpture's environment.

Delivery, Installation & Aftercare

Once complete, authenticated and signed, your artwork is packed in custom built wooden crates and shipped via specialist art couriers. For monumental or complex wall mounted works, the studio coordinates directly with structural engineers and professional installers to ensure flawless, secure placement. You are provided with comprehensive unpacking and maintenance guidelines and the studio remains available for future conservation advice to ensure your "PU 1/1" artwork endures for generations.
